ive been using the term retrograde lately to describe the funk i feel ive just emerged from

i associate my experience with the time that mercury was in retrograde from feb 23-march 17

i had a flash memory of Wok With Yan the other night while attempting stir fry

i had a couple of great stir-fry resources stashed away which came in real handy

its been six years since my last tattoo & ive been thinking about it again

i recently came across the Juptier blog's wild collection 

of tattoo pics which are posted every tuesday

i chose my favorites from their collection

yesterday i found my second gray hair & it got me excited

i cant remember the last time i dyed my hair & i dont know that i want to ever dye it again

so naturally the shiny grey hairs are slowly making their appearance

 i think that grey hair, especially natural pure white hair, is the most beautiful

i wonder if i will change my mind later in life?

today i went for brunch at the federal

a popular & busy spot on a saturday afternoon

in the midst of the bustle, ruby put on the Destiny's Child #1's album

& it was incredible to see the response from everyone in the place

there were so many different people who were visibly satisfied 
& could barely hold it in, singing along & grooving

it was pretty perfect

life lesson

hat for a cat

once upon a time there was a free knitting pattern on ravelry 

for a precious cat hat, which i made once & sent to my dear friend

 maggie's cat moozima-moonflower in the mail to montréal

yesterday i tried to find that pattern but it has since been taken offline

so i winged it, and made soosee a wee pink bonnet

(see the reluctant model above)

once i adjust my pattern & get it right

i will post it on here, for you to make too
