brownie has arrived to the city!! 

it saw it's first sale this past weekend at the May Junction Flea

it is truely a dream come true

 

it was very very windy to start 

it wasnt long before the awning needed to be removed

it hailed, it shone, it rained, it blew

over and over again

i got to hide inside & watch from the window

i look forward to the June Junction Flea

i imagine sunshine + a perfect breeze

i surely missed out 

i wish i had begged for them back in the early 90's

 just so that i could have one of my own to post here today

i go to the thrift store with a very open mind and very wide eyes

i take my time and browse most sections, or the ones i have patience for

(it really depends on the day)

while i know that its almost impossible to go with a goal to find a specific item

i keep a mental list of hard-to-find wonders 

that a) i can't get enough of or b) that i want...but only in thrift treasure form

most of these thrift treasures can be purchased from etsy

& in the midst of researching thrift wishes

i purchased me these every-day black boots

dream vans

do you have a dream car? i have several
bright-brown is currently seeking a larger vehicle 
& so i've had the pleasure of researching trucks & vans

i always knew i wanted an early 90's Ford F150 truck

but didn't realize how magnificent vintage vans are

(and how much more stuff you can fit in them)

i do appreciate the beauty of a vintage VW van

but they are just not quite my style

my dream gas-guzzling van would be brown & as short as possible
