list of wish

i go to the thrift store with a very open mind and very wide eyes
i take my time and browse most sections, or the ones i have patience for
(it really depends on the day)

while i know that its almost impossible to go with a goal to find a specific item
i keep a mental list of hard-to-find wonders
that a) i can't get enough of or b) that i want...but only in thrift treasure form

most of these thrift treasures can be purchased from etsy
& in the midst of researching thrift wishes

boots  ..  clock  ..  key  ..  wallpaper  ..  ladder  ..  napkin  ..  butter

brooklyn flea

one of my favorite activities in the NYC region is Brooklyn Flea
while at Williamsburg Flea a couple of weeks ago

i made a point of photographing everything i would have bought
--had i a giant bucket of cash

revisiting everything i left behind was slightly painful
but worth this display of everything most-beautiful

my favorite find was definitely the giant white cat
it is made from the same mold as me mascot, panko
(the giant ceramic feline featured up there on the blog banner)

ps. view more + buy john murphy ceramics

days later, when waltzing east on dundas west i came across this brilliant window display at

the vessels look stunning-- lit up on the light box!
the owner, bev, supplied me with these outstanding night shots

one brief web search for something similar

they are a UK based company
with a very unique webpage design + a GRAND selection
