hat for a cat

once upon a time there was a free knitting pattern on ravelry 

for a precious cat hat, which i made once & sent to my dear friend

 maggie's cat moozima-moonflower in the mail to montréal

yesterday i tried to find that pattern but it has since been taken offline

so i winged it, and made soosee a wee pink bonnet

(see the reluctant model above)

once i adjust my pattern & get it right

i will post it on here, for you to make too

she snuck out when a friend came in for a visit

and i didn't notice until about an hour later

after a rigid search of every nook of the house, and a near heart attack

i found her on the neighbours porch: we was stressin

now every chance she gets she makes a run through the open front door

...the time has come for a collar

he is my parents kitten, and he came to stay with us while they went on vacation

but we decided that he should stay with us to help keep fraidy sane

while karl goes on tour for a couple of months

he will be the baby sitter

a couple of christmas' ago my niece brook asked me to knit her cat a sweater

her cats name is eva, and this cat sweater 

was a prototype for the one i actually gave her

it fits fraidy perfectly

at first she was very nervous, but she has been fitting in quite nicely

she talks a lot, and is a bit of a freak, 
but i think that comes along with being a kitten

she likes to sit on me and watch me use the computer

happy spring

growing up my mom seemed to have some kind of hate on for the easter bunny

she insisted he didn't exist, and instead she promoted the spring chicken

the spring chicken is the one who brings all the chocolate
but the spring chicken, she wouldn't deliver the chocolate until
the tuesday after easter. she liked a good bargain.
